It's safe to admit that taking photos is not one of my best skill. However, I've always found Photography very interesting with it's power to immortalize each moment, be it a special one or not.
That's why this year, I decided to try Photography. Lomography to be precise.
I didn't expect that I'll have so much fun.
So using Serena-our Holga 120 camera-I'd like to share some of the first moments I captured on film.
While everyone is giving their greetings of love and passionate kisses on Heart’s day, we we’re mourning for the death of one of our most-loved bundle of joy.
Gucci.
It wasn’t too long ago when I introduced him here. I didn’t expect that the next thing that I’ll be sharing about Gucci is his untimely death. It was really sad to bid farewell to him that soon, since he’s only been with us for about two weeks.
According to the vet, Parvovirus have already found comfort in our house and we can’t get rid of it anymore. Hence, every doggie that we’ll bring in our home will most likely be infected by it. The only way to prevent that from happening is through sufficient vaccination beforehand.
That was our mistake. We didn’t have Gucci vaccinated at once because of the notion that he was too young for it. Big mistake. Big one.
We did everything we could to save him. We even had him confined and dextrose in our resident pet clinic. But it was all too late.
According to the vet, who called and woke us up early morning-which made it extra dreadful- he expired just before Valentines Day ended.
We hurriedly went to the clinic to have a glimpse of Gucci before they have him buried. The sight of him dead in a small box summoned all our tears.
I believe it happened for a reason and we certainly learned so much from what happened.
He is now with our Lord.
We will surely miss his adorable walk, the way he wakes us up with his kisses and his stress-reducing cuteness that gives us unadulterated smile filled with happiness.
I would like to introduce one fifth of our pets at home aka "The Pussycat Dogs"
I'll post our other pets soon.
His name is Gucci. He is a Shihtzu. Roughly, 2 months old.
Yesterday, as I was waiting for something exciting to happen here in the office,I read my sister's status in Facebook: I'm thinking about selling my Gucci puppy. It wasn't clear to me what her status meant. I thought she was selling her bags or something.
Later that night, I had a chance to chat with her. To my surprise, she asked me if I want another puppy. Her previous dog, Ming-Ming, just gave birth to 2 adorable puppies, Gucci and Chanel. Supposedly, there were three puppies, but Louis Vuitton died.
My sister barely can't take care of them 'cause her super cute and hyper son already keeps her busy. To cut it short, she wants me to adopt one of the puppies,Gucci, instead of selling him.
We already have 3 dogs at home which was why I had to think it over before I get myself into something I can't deal with in the long run. Let's face it, it's not that easy to have dogs, right? But dog-lover as I am-plus the sigh and the big smile I mustered after I saw the picture of Gucci- I'd be crazy not to take him.
We slept together for the first time. hehe. He was so cuddly and cute the whole night. I'm really happy to have a new puppy. I just had one, 2 weeks ago. His name is Mocha. I'll introduce him next. But for now, Gucci is super cute! I'll take good care of him. He'll be getting a lot of love from his parents and family.
For a long time, I lost confidence in my skills as a scribe and was in hiatus when it comes to creating stories of sort or just simply blogging for the heck of sharing the things I find interesting. I was a bit focused on a lot of different things and let's not forget the shameful fact that I was lazy to write.
But now. I'm back!
It's high time that I enjoy again one of the things I was so much fond of years ago-blogging-and at the same time, I believe this will help me brush up with my writing skills.
Expect a lot of crazy things from an insane guy who hides behind the beauty of the world.
